-
The
Bible is the Word and Revelation of God,
infallible, and God-breathed (2Tim.
3:16-17).
-
In
the triune God, expressed in three persons;
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Mt.
28:19-20; 2Cor. 13:14; 1Jn. 2:23-24;
3:23-24; 5:7-8).
-
In
the personality of Lucifer, also known as
Satan, the Devil, who is the adversary of
God and mankind (Is. 14:12-15; Job 1:6-7,
Jn. 8:44; Lk. 8:11-12; 1Peter 5:8).
-
In
the virgin birth (full humanity) and
absolute deity of Jesus Christ, the Son of
God (Mt. 1:18-21; Lk. 1:26-35; Jn. 1:1,14).
-
In
the total universality and depravity of the
sin nature of mankind (Ecc. 7:20; Is.
53:6; Ro. 3:23; Ga. 3:22).
-
In
the eternal punishment for unregenerate,
unbelieving sinners (Pr. 16:4; Jn. 3:36;
Rev. 20:14-15; 21:8).
-
In
the death, burial, and physical resurrection
of Jesus Christ, who provided the vicarious
and unconditional atonement for the sins of
elect mankind and the victory over Satan and
death once for all (1Peter 1:2-5; 1Cor.
15:1-4, 55-57; Ro. 5:14-21; 8:29-34; 11:5-7;
He. 9:28; 10:9, 10, 12-14).
-
That
regeneration, being born again unto eternal
life, is by grace, believing in the atoning
work of Jesus Christ, as precisely taught in
the Word of God, and that this salvation is
an act of Gods grace alone, worked out
effectively for all those whom the Heavenly
Father calls and draws to Christ for that
purpose (Jn. 3:3-8, 16-21; 6:29, 37-40,
44-45, 51, 53, 61-63, 65; Ro. 1:3-6;
8:28-30; 10:9-17; Col. 2:12; 1Pe. 1:18-21,
23-25; Jas. 1: 18).
-
In
the personal work of the Holy Spirit,
convicting people of sin, making them new
creatures in Christ, baptizing them into the
body of Christ, the Church, and in dwelling
all believers who are born again (Jn.
16:7-11; 1Cor. 3:16; 12:13; 2Cor. 5:17; Eph.
1:13-14; 2Th. 2:13; 2Tim. 1:7; Titus 3:5-7).
-
That
Jesus Christ has ascended into Heaven, is at
the right of the Father, is our intercessory
High Priest, who will abide there until the
appointed time for His glorious bodily
return as the King of Kings and Lord of
Lords (Act. 1:9-11; Eph. 1:20; He.
1:3;3:1; 7:24-27; 1Th. 4:13-17; Lk. 9:26;
Mk. 13:26-27; Re. 17:14, 19:16).
