Throughout
the early history of Camp Del-Haven, founder
Don Carpenter, along with founding members Dick Capp, and his wife, Mary
Elizabeth, longed for the day when a chapel could
be built on the campgrounds. In memory of their
past leadership and dedication to the camp
ministry, the Del-Haven Memorial Chapel was
providentially built in 2004 and serves as a
testament to the camp's priority as a witness
for the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ.
The welcome mat is
out to any who would like to gather at the
chapel on Sunday mornings from 10:30-12:30 to
sing praises to our Lord and edify one another
in His wonderful grace.
Our current
course of Bible Study is titled: "Restoring the
distinctive between the Kingdom of Christ and
the empire of Satan." We believe in and expositionally proclaim the sovereign grace of
the gospel of the glory of the Lord Jesus
Christ.
A meal is
provided afterwards around which we enjoy
further fellowship and interaction over the
things taught or other edifying topics. This is
also when we celebrate the Lord's Supper when it
is observed.
